Yea, thats what I've been trying to do just it's really hard to catch. And since this rosetta stone thing is for a class those damn listening portions are graded and it's so hard to hear the speakers...

In regards to the example you gave, it would actually be 'L'homme court' for the singular and 'Les hommes courent' for the plural. But you are correct: homme and hommes sounds exactly the same, as do...

Well in that example in particular, I'd listen for the liason (sp?). There should be a Z sound between les & hommes.

The S in Les is silent. It sounds like Lay. The easiest thing you could do would be to listen ford the 2 words to be blended in L'homme because like HP said, it sounds like lom

i duno... there is also a difference in english which is 'the man run' and 'men run'. Dont worry too much about little things like that, get the sense of your phrases right first, worry about tenses...
